Dr. Aashrai Sai Venkat Gudlavalleti Memorial Award










The Dr. Aashrai Sai Venkat Gudlavalleti Memorial Award is an annual recognition dedicated to celebrating the remarkable contributions of young Indian neurologists and neurological researchers. Established in memory of Dr. Aashrai Gudlavalleti (1989–2024), a compassionate neurologist who dedicated his life to patient care and scientific advancement, this award aims to support and inspire innovation in neuroepidemiology, neuroinfectious diseases, and neurological sciences.

This prestigious award recognizes one outstanding young Indian neurologist or neurological sciences researcher (below 45 years of age) who has significantly contributed to neuroepidemiology, neuroinfectious diseases, or neurological sciences.

The PRASHO Foundation, with the support of the Gudlavalleti family, administers this award to honor Dr. Aashrai’s commitment to the field and to encourage excellence in neurological research.





Nomination Process





The Dr. Aashrai Sai Venkat Gudlavalleti Memorial Award is awarded annually on February 18th starting from the year 2026.





Who Can Apply?





    

  • Young neurologists or neurological researchers under 45 years old.
    • 




  • Must be an Indian Citizen and all research and development activities must be conducted within India
    • 




  • Candidates with a strong track record in neuroepidemiology, neuroinfectious diseases, or neurological sciences.
    •
